Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Bmail (usebmail.com) and Kevin for Gmail. By creating an account or connecting your Google account, you agree to them.

1. The service

Bmail provides an email platform and Kevin, an AI assistant that operates inside your existing Gmail account when you explicitly delegate a task to it — by CC’ing kevin@usebmail.com, emailing Kevin directly, or issuing a request in the Kevin dashboard.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information.

3. Google account connection

Connecting Google authorizes Kevin to act on your behalf within the permissions you grant. You may disconnect at any time in the Kevin dashboard or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google’s own terms.

4. AI assistant disclaimer

Kevin is powered by large language models and can make mistakes, including scheduling errors, misreading intent, or producing inaccurate summaries. Kevin sends mail from your address as your delegate. You remain responsible for messages sent from your account. Review Kevin’s output for anything consequential. Kevin is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Bmail or Kevin to:

• Send spam, bulk unsolicited mail, phishing, or malware.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Harass, threaten, or defame others, or infringe intellectual property rights.
• Violate any applicable law, or Google’s or any sub-processor’s terms of service.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent access controls of the service.
• Access another user’s data without authorization.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to your email, calendar, and file content. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to deliver the features you request, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models.

7. Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the prices displayed at checkout. One-time purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice.

8. Beta features

Kevin is offered in beta. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn, and availability is not guaranteed. Beta features are provided without any service-level commitment.

9. SMS and WhatsApp messaging (Bmail Kevin)

Program name: Bmail Kevin. Bmail Kevin is an optional text-message interface to your Kevin AI email assistant. You opt in by entering your own mobile number in the Kevin dashboard at usebmail.com/kevin/app and confirming the one-time verification code we text you, or by texting LINK your-email@example.com to (415) 484-0706 and replying CODE 123456 with the code you receive.

• Message types: one-time verification codes, task confirmations, status updates, and results you requested from Kevin. Transactional only — we never send marketing texts.
• Message frequency: varies with your own usage; messages are sent only in response to your requests. Typically fewer than 20 messages per month.
• Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts. You can also unlink your number in the Kevin dashboard at any time.
• For help, reply HELP or email support@usebmail.com.
• Your phone number is used only to deliver these messages. We never sell, rent, or share it with third parties for marketing, and mobile opt-in data is never shared with third parties.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time by emailing support@usebmail.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users, with notice where practicable.

11. Warranty disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Changes

We may update these terms and will post the revised version here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.
